To grab this:
- FTP in to
www.ednmag.com. (yes, ftp into the WWW site.)
- login: anonymous
- passwd: your user id
- get EDN/di_sig/DI1223Z.ZIP mpy.ZIP
- use your favorite program to uncompress the ZIP file
Normally, I would have just had an ftp URL which looks like:
ftp://www.ednmag.com/EDN/di_sig/DI1223Z.ZIP
in the bibliography. But, that doesn't seem to work. My current theory is
that the browser attempts to grab the file
/EDN/di_sig/DI1223Z.ZIP (note the leading slash), which
the server will not allow you to do since it denies anonymous ftp'ers
access to the root directory (slash). I don't know how to tell the broswer
to omit the root slash.
