Sept. 9, 1993 -- It looks like this may not work in all cases for NOACT-ORBIT. When the processor is in a mode that does not offload status and the number of dummy cycles is non-zero, it looks possible that there may be a few cycles between the assertion of processor wait and the completion of the data write. We could put a deterministic upper bound on the number of cycles skewed if this really is the case. -- andre
